Eerie… The feeling crept up on us as we entered the yard behind an old church in Barbados, that turned out to be a cemetery. The perfect blue sky contrasted with the abandoned-looking tombstones. Grass grew tall and ragged, while bare, leafless trees shadowed the graves. Shrubs stood blood red, as if saying, I was alive once. It felt uncannily like we’d stepped into the setting of a horror movie. Even the tropical sun of Barbados couldn’t stop me from shivering. Surreal.

AHHHH Barbados (our honeymoon)! That is a really rad tree!

What an amazing pic! Love!
That is a magical tree but I can see how eerie that place could be. I always like to imagine with trees like this that the roots mirror the bare branches below the ground.

A good place to visit by day, but if its night time, I don’t think so. Hahahaha. I’m not that brave enough to go on a spooky adventure. But if anyone dared, I guess I can cheer him or her up. Lol. Thanks for sharing this!

Maybe if we have the chance of going Barbados again, we will try it at night!
