One of my best traveling memories, sneaking up Masaya Volcano at night with Ryan, Lucero, Jaime and Matt. Sneaking? Yes, we were not allowed to be in the area after the national park’s closing time, around sunset. We tried so hard to quietly slip in, but kept failing because there were as many guards as we were. After 2 hours of trying, we tried to bribe them to let us stay. It worked! And once it worked, we bargained that down to zero!
One day I’ll share the story here. For now, I just wanna share a shot I took before we tried to infiltrate the park. A sunset in Masaya Volcano, Nicaragua. It was when our crazy night began…

I love this night… I will never forget. It was fucking crazy… I loved that the next morning we found out NO guards were on the volcano & that we were sleeping in an area with a warning sign for rattle snakes in it. Oh man good times. I miss Central America.

I really like the composition of this photo. Could do with a bit less sky and a higher vantage point, but I guess you work with what you got. Good job.
